The Manhattan Times is reporting that our beloved Mamajuana has had their alcohol license renewed by the State Liquor Authority over the objection of Community Board 12. The icing on the cake is that “the nightspot also received its outdoor café license renewal from the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs, over Community Board 12’s prior objections.” I would love to believe that our recent OP-Led has something to do with the decision but in reality granting Mamajuana their licenses only made fiscal sense. Long live Mamajuana!!!
