I fondly remember the first Bago Brunch I ever attended over a year and a half ago. What most impressed me about the gathering was the sense that everyone was there to move forward collectively. That while individual shine was important, it was infinitely more important to progress together. Fast forward to the present and the Bago Bunch Brunches and Mixers have become must-attend networking events for up and coming influencers, tastemakers and media industry professionals. Fortunately, that idea that a rising tide floats all boats still prevails. The latest Bago Bunch event, The Uptown 50, was a case in point. You had a packed house of movers and shakers without any egos or false airs. Just forward thinkers looking to build with like minded individuals.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the venue for the festivities. Hear this, loud and clear, NegroClaro (3805 tenth Ave – btwn 204th St & Academy) is absolutely gorgeous. The place is an opulent oasis, a lounge that is simultaneously ample yet intimate. If you are looking for a sexy and sophisticated space, then this, ladies and gentlemen, is it. Cheers to the Bago Bunch for another stellar event. Also, much love goes out to Belvedere for sponsoring the function. Remember the motto, spread love it’s the Uptown way.
