TEDxColumbiaSIPA

The 2nd annual TEDxColumbiaSIPA event will take place at the Miller Theatre (Broadway at 116th St.) on the Columbia University campus on May 8th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. The function will feature 12 inspiring speakers and performers organized around the theme, Think Smaller.

Highlighted speakers this year include Grammy-nominated musician Matisyahu and New York Times bestselling author Sapphire whose book inspired the Academy Award-winning major motion film, Precious.

Other confirmed speakers include Aurora Anaya-Cerda of La Casa Azul Bookstore in East Harlem; Chef Joseph “JJ” Johnson, Chef de Cuisine at The Cecil restaurant in Harlem; and Tao Porchon-Lynch, the oldest yoga teacher in the world.
