For over twenty years, Imam Talib ‘Abdur-Rashid has ran Harlem’s Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood (MIB); and for twenty years he has provided a religious sanctuary for its predominantly African-American congregation, who have increasingly felt the weight of being both Muslim and black in America.
