Casting Call – Get Down With The Get Down

The Get Down - Netflix - Casting Call

Understand this: In 2016, everybody will be buzzing about The Get Down by visionary director Baz Luhrmann. The Get Down delves into the cultural and social milieu of the Bronx in the early 70’s when hip-hop was in it’s infancy. You have a chance to be a part of history.

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking men and women 18-years-old and up to portray African American and Latino teens and young adults. Since the show takes place in the 1970’s, hair is very important, the show is looking for people with at least 1.5-2 inches of hair growth on men, and natural non-processed hair for women. AFROS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! A wardrobe fitting is required for our show, but it is paid. The day of work will also be paid! This is for continuous work from now to December.
