Uptown Video: The Mixtapes EP Documentary

Imagine working over a year on an album and just weeks before the release date your laptop crashes, erasing the songs you’ve perfected. This is what happened to artist/producer Dominante earlier this year. When his latest album, The Mixtapes EP, was about to be released his laptop crashed.

In the The Mixtapes EP documentary the Washington Heights native explains to Ms. Viva Voce why his laptop crashing was a hidden blessing. Dominante, who has been blending hip-hop, merengue, reguetton and bachata like no one else, opens about his process, the making of The Mixtapes EP and what’s in store in the near future.
