Mark our words: Come Election Day, Uptown will come out strong for the only candidate for Mayor that has our best interests at heart, True Progressive, Bill de Blasio. This coming Friday, November 1st, 2013, Democratic Mayoral Candidate Bill de Blasio will stand tall in Northern Manhattan to rally his sizeable contingent of Uptown supporters just days before the decisive November 5th showdown with his Republican rival. While up by 45 points in a recent poll, de Blasio will look to continue energizing his base, rallying around increased affordable housing and early childhood education, against abusive stop and frisk and in support of those left behind by the Bloomberg/Guiliani years.

De Blasio will join NYS Senator Adriano Espaillat, NYS Assembly Member Gabriela Rosa, NYC Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez, Democratic Nominee for NYC Council District 7 Mark Levine, the Northern Manhattan Democrats for Change, Barack Obama Democratic Club and supporters from across the northern tip of Manhattan to make a final push and earn a mandate from the people of New York City. His progressive agenda has energized voters weary of the one-sided policies of the last two decades; and particularly in Northern Manhattan, his message has galvanized many who desire a new way forward.

Please do not let the perception of an easy victory stop you from going out and voting this coming Tuesday. Democracy demands participation. Make sure your voice is heard!
