Claudia De La Cruz, Founder and Executive Director of Da Urban Butterflies (DUB) Youth Leadership Development Project has been nominated as a candidate for 2012′s ‘Mujer Que Inspira by Revista Siempre Mujer’ (Women Who Inspire by Siempre Mujer Magazine). It is a well-deserved nomination and even more exciting, if she wins, DUB wins a $10,000 grant! DUB’s work is geared toward empowering our youth, and more specifically, the young women in Washington Heights. This grant will provide much needed support for the development of their programming.
To accomplish this, we need your help!! Anything can be accomplished with community and we firmly believe that we can win this.
