One of the great treats of New York in the summer is getting out of New York in the summer. That isn’t always the easiest thing to do on an average Tuesday night. But the newly open La Marina in Washington Heights seems like an out-of-town destination when its really just a quick trip uptown.
On the edge of the Hudson River, La Marina is an expansive bar and restaurant where one can enjoy drinks and a lovely view of the George Washington Bridge and the Palisades. Chef Pierre Landet has developed a seafood-based menu with French influences to keep diners from all over the city coming back.
