		<description>Alexander Hamilton, like so many who came after him, lived uptown, was a Caribbean, and a New Yorker.  When he looked at the future of America, what he saw was much more accurate than what the much more celebrated Thomas Jefferson envisioned. 
Every New Yorker should visit Hamilton&#039;s home wayyyyy up near City College. I like to think he&#039;d be less surprised by what New York became than any other Founding Father would if they could see their home states 225 years later. Bet he&#039;d get a kick out of seeing Columbia too! (He&#039;s an alum)
