The Bago Mixer: “The chance for professionals….to mix mingle in their own back yard”
An event set up by professionals for professionals, and it could not be defined better than that. The event held in Washington Heights’ very own Apartment 78 put together by Juan Bago (www.heightsentertainment.com) and his extremely friendly crew, was a great way for anyone who is in the market to work with people from Washington Heights and Inwood, or even further. Musicians, business owners, radio hosts, blog writers, and artists were among the Heineken filled crowd all night, many of whom me and my Music For Daze crew got to network with and packed our pockets with business cards. The night was not only filled with free beer and great food and drinks from Apt 78’s menu, but the soundtrack of the night was Jazz (Thursday nights are Jazz nights) from recorded tracks and a very professional and beautiful sounding live Latin Jazz band known as “Annette A Aguilar and Stringbeans.” They are performing around NYC, check out http://www.aguilarstringbeans.com. Overall it was a great night and I can’t wait for the next one. Quick shout out to some people I had the pleasure of meeting and hopefully will work with soon. Ohene Cornelius (blip.tv), Red Creek Productions (www.redcreek.info), Jorge Bustos Estefan (www.bustosestefan.com) and Reginal Exilus (rxphotos.tumblr.com.

I get chills when I see the photos and video. I’m so glad people came and enjoyed the night. We must continue building and networking and supporting each other as artists and business people. This is what helps and guides us to become stronger. Thank you again!

Thanks guys. I definitely agree with Mr Bago, we definitely will keep building. Rainey as one of the architects of Wahi, we will make this place a whole new city that people will start to flock to, but we shall say “NO, Too Late!”
