Uptown resident, business owner and all around influential person in this community and beyond, Zead Ramadan, appeared on the Today show to discuss the issue of the proposed Quran burning by a Florida pastor and the creeping islamophobia that is engulfing this country. Mr. Ramadan spoke eloquently on the topic and more than held his own against Representative Peter King, who is using the whole issue of the mosque being built near ground zero for political points.
