AUTHOR/BLOGGER COMTEMPLATES A MOVE UPTOWN

Speaking of moving to a new neighborhood, award-winning author and blogger, Tanya Plank, is contemplating a move to Uptown. She recently posted an item on her blog about her travels around our neighborhood. I found her insights interesting and it was refreshing to read an account of Uptown that reflects what is happening here today not in the past.

Tonya Plank’s first novel Swallow was published in December 2009 and is an Amazon best-seller in legal fiction. The novel has received several awards, including a gold medal for best regional fiction in the 2010 Independent Publisher Awards (IPPYs), the gold medal for women’s fiction in the 2010 Living Now Book Awards, and was a finalist in the ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year Awards and the National Indie Excellence Awards.
