Ive read numerous books on this story and seen quite a few bootleg movies that were never really able to capture the essence of these sisters or their story. This movie exceeded my expectations, we are able to join them on their journey against intolerance and tyranny. This a must see film, bring your friends and family and let tell take a pic at our history. I like to keep up with what my fellow Dominicans are up to. I had heard so many stories about "la 40" and no other Trujillo movie had such a graphic description of that savage detention facility!.... Shouts to Jesse Terrero in the building and Thanks UC for the heads up about this marvelous event!
