For the UC to be promoting a performance at Umbrella’s, it has to be a next level artist and Rita Indiana is exactly that. A couple of month’s ago I wrote about her on my personal blog and titled the post, “The La Gaga Dominicana.” A friend of mine put me on to her and her music and I was instantly hooked. Especially after seeing the video to “La hora de Volve”. Rita Indiana y Los Misterios music combine traditional Merengue and Electronic music. A breath of fresh air compared to the stale and uncreative Merengue music that is being produced these days. Anyway, take a look at her video below and see what I’m talking about and on July 10th you will probably see me at Umbrella, for the 2nd time in 9 years, with shoes on dancing to Miss Indiana.
